1 Windsor Place, Magdalen Yard Road, Dundee

This is a two-storey, neo-classical terrace dating to around 1835-40. It comprises numbers 1 to 6, inclusive, on Windsor Place, Dundee. The building is constructed of ashlar. The terrace is symmetrical in design, with fluted Doric columns forming porticos to each house. Windows are set within architraves. The end houses have three bays and feature four-columned porticos. The central houses have two windows per bay, are bipartite, and have single porticos to the recessed properties. A paired, four-columned portico serves the two central houses. A continuous cornice runs along the top of the building and is followed by a balustraded parapet. Chimney stacks are visible on the roof ridge. Number 1 Windsor Place has an attic with two dormers. Number 6 Windsor Place has a simple three-bay facade facing Windsor Street, also with a balustraded parapet.
