Description

The sundial at the University of Dundee, located in Geddes Quadrangle, dates back to 1912. It features a hemispherical metal sundial mounted on a column that consists of a three-tiered, stepped base made of ten-sided cream ashlar. The shaft is pentagonal and made of red ashlar, with moulded angles, supporting a large red ashlar dodecahedron.
