Description

The sundial at Arthurstone House, dated 1760, features a stone shaft and multiple dials, positioned on an octagonal stepped plinth topped with a ball finial. It is visible from Arthurstone House. The sundial has a square base adorned with bas relief figures on each face, and the round shaft is decorated with bas relief Corinthian columns and foliate designs. There are four dials equipped with metal gnomons and inscribed markings.
