Description

The Dovecot at Arthurstone House Estate dates from 1610, as indicated on the southwest skewputt. It is constructed of red sandstone rubble and features a lectern-type design with crow-stepped gables on the east and west sides. The structure has a single chamfered rat course and an eaves course. There is a row of flight holes on the south side, and low rectangular entrance openings on the east and west. The roof is monopitch and slated.

Inside, as observed in 2012, there are rows of recessed stone compartments along the north and south walls.
