Description
5 Annfield Street in Dundee is a two-storey U-plan house built around 1800. The structure is made of rubble with tooled dressings and features a five-bay south front, which includes a central three-window bow and a cast iron balcony on the first floor supported by iron brackets. The entrance door is located in the centre bay, and there is a band course at the first floor level. The east and west elevations have been extended to the rear with lower two-bay sections that include a blocked door and two blind windows. The end gable of the east wing is harled where the extension has been removed. The sash and case windows have eight and twelve-pane glazing. The roof is piended slate with twin stacks flanking the centre bays, and there are tall rubble built wallhead stacks at the rear.
