Description
24 Milnbank Road is a detached house built around 1815 by David Neave. It is two stories high and has three bays, featuring a classically detailed ashlar front with rubble sides and rear. The central entrance has an Ionic pilastered and pedimented doorpiece, complete with a rectangular fanlight above. The house has sash and case windows set in architraves, with cornicing at the ground floor. The windows have an 8-pane glazing pattern, and there are two large wallhead stacks at the ends. The roof is piended and covered with slate. The property also includes panelled window shutters and wrought-iron railings that are set out on a low retaining wall at the front. The interior was gutted in 1986.
