Description
This building is a cottage that was originally a generator and battery house, designed by Sir Robert Lorimer in 1902. It is a single-storey structure with an attic and has a rectangular plan. The exterior is harled, and it features a grey slate roof with a base course and a pyramidal shape.
On the south elevation, there is a lean-to addition that includes two top-hopper windows that do not match the original style. To the left, there is a partially glazed modern door, and the roof has a swept cat-slide design. In the center, there is a semi-ogival dormer with a modern window.
The north elevation features a 9-pane window in the center, an elongated stack on the right, a modern rooflight, and an original louvred gabled vent.
The east and west elevations are blank.
