Description

Sir Robert Lorimer, 1902. 2-storey L-plan cottage with 1st floor breaking eaves. Harled with rubble base course. Raised cills.

N ELEVATION: half-piended broad gable with wide tripartite at ground and smaller above. Advanced gabled porch added 1972. Boundary wall at right angle extending W.

W GABLE: half-piended with lower roof sweep to left. Entrance in recessed bay to left of N wing.

S ELEVATION: irregular openings at ground with doorway off-centre.

2 bell-cast piended dormers.

Small-pane casement windows. Slate roof. Harled roof stack by re-entrant angle. Diminutive boat-shaped ventilator mock dormers on N side.
