Description
This early 19th century terraced house, located at 3-5 High Street in Gatehouse of Fleet, features an inserted shopfront at No 5. The building is two stories high and has three bays, constructed of rubble with monolithic granite window margins.
The central doorway is round-arched and hood moulded, complete with a fanlight and a well-crafted panelled door. To the left, there is a traditional shopfront at No 5. On the first floor, there are three single light windows, all of which are sash and case with plate glass glazing.
The roof is slate, with sandstone ridge and skews to the left, and a coped granite stack.
