Description

The stableyard at Spottes Hall features a garden enclosed by coped rubble walls. It consists of four ranges of one- and two-storey buildings. The stable range includes cobble-floored stalls on the ground level, with an attic hayloft above that has gabled loft doors. There is a central wide depressed-arch carriage entrance leading to the coach-house. Additionally, there is a large two-storey threshing barn, which has doors designed to control draughts, is partially floored, and includes slit ventilators and three small loft windows on each long side. The property also has a dog kennel with an exercise pen.
