Description

Mid 19th century. 2-storey inn. Painted coursed rubble, with

smooth rusticated quoins. 7-bay street elevation with central

depressed arch pend with bold voussoirs and rusticated jambs;

single light window above. Flanking this symmetrical 3-bay

elevations with central doorways. All openings with

architraves and hoodmoulds, single light windows with 4-pane

sashes. Door to left with modern projecting hood.

Band course to 1st floor cills, moulded eaves cornice.

Corniced axial stacks, octagonal cans. Flat skews, slate

roofs. Bowed dormer to left.
