Description

Later 19th century, possibly with earlier origin.

2-storey, 5-bay inn, rendered and painted with painted raised margins. To ground: 2 doorways that to left formerly much wider (serving as a pend), now narrower with Roman Doric pilastered doorpiece. Wide doorway to right pilastered with block pediment. 2-storey wings to rear linked by flat-roofed section.

All windows bipartite (except 2nd from left), all sash and case with 2-pane plate glass glazing.

Eaves cornice, deep parapet with decorative iron balustrade. 4 canted le ad-roofed dormers. All ridges with decorative iron brattishing. Corniced end and axial stacks with octagonal cans. Slate roofs.
