Description

Wellview is a villa built around 1870, featuring two storeys and an attic, and is nearly symmetrical in design. The front has three bays and is constructed from whinstone with sandstone dressings. The central door is topped with a consoled pediment and is flanked by advanced gabled bays. The northern bay is two-storey and canted, with a corbelled square at the attic, while the southern bay is also two-storey and has a squared bay with tripartite windows. The attic windows are located under finialled gables. The building has an eaves cornice and a slated roof with skews and end stacks.
