Description

114-116 Friars Vennel in Dumfries is a late 19th century, three-storey framed building. It features red sandstone faced pilasters and bays made of timber and glass. The building has five bays, with transomed canted oriels on the first floor that include panelled friezes. The second floor has twin-arched mullioned and transomed windows. The ground floor has been modernized for a shop. The building has straight skews, end stacks, and three skylights, all topped with a slate roof.
