18-20 Baron Taylor's Street, Inverness

18-20 Baron Taylor's Street in Inverness is a later 19th-century building that features a symmetrical three-storey structure with an attic and a three-bay gabled design, forming part of a terrace with a shop on the ground floor. The exterior is made of squared and snecked tooled cream sandstone, with ashlar dressings. It has a base course, a corniced shop front, and cill courses, along with linked architraved hoodmoulds on the first and second floors. The gablehead is shaped, and the openings on the first and second floors are stop-chamfered, with sandstone mullions.

The northwest elevation, which serves as the entrance, has a three-bay glazed shop front at the ground level, with single windows in each bay on the first floor. The second floor features bipartite windows flanking a central bipartite window set in a round-arched recess, which is located in the shaped gablehead above.

The southeast elevation was not visible in 1999. It includes a plate glass shop front and timber sash and case windows with stained and leaded lower sections on the first floor, while the upper floors have plate glass timber sash and case windows. The roof is covered with grey slate and has stone-coped skews, along with a coped apex stack. The interior was not seen in 1999.
