Description

Later 19th century. Symmetrical 3-storey with attic, 3-bay gabled block forming part of terrace with shop at ground. Squared and snecked tooled cream sandstone; ashlar dressings. Base course; corniced shop front; cill courses and linked, architraved hoodmoulds at 1st and 2nd floors; shaped gablehead. Stop-chamfered openings at 1st and 2nd floors; sandstone mullions.

NW (ENTRANCE) ELEVATION: 3-bay, glazed shop front at ground. Single windows in all bays at 1st floor.

Bipartite windows flanking centre at 2nd floor. Bipartite window in round-arched recess centred in shaped gablehead above.

SE (REAR) ELEVATION: not seen 1999.

Plate glass shop front; timber sash and case windows with stained and leaded lowers at 1st floor; plate glass timber sash and case windows at upper floors. Grey slate roof; stone-coped skews. Coped apex stack.

INTERIOR: not seen 1999.
