Description
77 Friars Vennel is a late 18th century building that has undergone some alterations. It stands two storeys high with an attic and features three narrow bays. The ground floor is filled with an Edwardian shop front, and the cornice breaks forward over the openings. The exterior is finished in painted droved ashlar with dressings. The first floor has plate glass sash windows, and there is an eaves and lintel band along the top. The roof is slate with straight skews and includes a single dormer from the 20th century. The west gable is asymmetrical, rendered, and also has a shop window along with a single attic light.
