Description
Culshabbin Cottage is an early to earlier 19th century single-storey building with five bays arranged in a 3-1-1 configuration, constructed of painted rubble. It features projecting cills and mainly 2-light windows.
On the north elevation, there is a boarded door located in the penultimate bay to the left, with windows in the remaining bays. The east elevation has a window at the center. The west elevation includes a single-light window slightly to the left of center. The south elevation has five bays grouped to the left and center, with a door in the penultimate bay to the left and windows in the remaining bays, including a narrow top-hopper window in the bay to the right of center. There is a modern sun porch attached to the right.
The cottage has timber and lead diamond-pane glazing in its casement windows and a piended roof. It features three evenly spaced painted rubble ridge stacks with concrete copes, slightly graded grey slates, red sandstone ridges, and an octagonal can atop each stack.
