Description

Drummore is a farmhouse built in the later 19th century, featuring two storeys and three bays, with a two-storey cheese loft attached to the rear, creating an L-shaped plan. The exterior is made of painted rubble with painted raised margins.

On the south elevation, there is a gabled porch at the center, with a door to the left leading to the west return and a window to the south. The eaves overhang, and there is a timber spike finial. The windows are regularly arranged.

The west elevation has a window on the left side for both floors, while the cheese loft is recessed to the left.

The east elevation is gabled and blank.

On the north elevation, there is a window on the left side for both floors, with the cheese loft adjoining to the right.

The cheese loft features a door leading to the house and a window above on the first floor to the left of the east elevation. It has two machinery doors and three windows at ground level, along with four window openings on the first floor. The west elevation has three window openings at ground level and four on the first floor. There is also a lean-to structure attached to the north elevation.

The windows throughout are sash and case style, with four-pane glazing and smaller upper sashes on the south elevation, some featuring twelve-pane glazing. The cheese loft has small-pane glazing and boarded shutters on its openings. The building has coped skews and painted rubble chimney stacks, with gableheads on the east and west sides and a ridge between the house and cheese loft. The roof is covered with purple slates and features octagonal cans.

To the north, there is a painted rubble steading.
