Description
This early 19th century farmhouse at Meikle Galdenoch is a two-storey building constructed of painted rubble. The north elevation features a three-bay house on the left and a former cheese loft on the right. The house has a gabled porch at the center, with a door facing north and a window on the west return. The remaining bays have regular fenestration, and there is a small window located between the house and the cheese loft.
The cheese loft has a window at the ground floor and shows evidence of a formerly adjoining lower wing that ran north. The right side has a washed rubble wall. The west elevation is blank.
The building has modern plate glass glazing, coped skews, and block skewputts. There are gablehead stacks and a ridge stack at the center, topped with grey slates and octagonal cans. The boundary walls are made of rubble and are coped with rubble.
