Description
141-143 High Street in Dumfries is a late 18th century building that stands three storeys tall. The ground floor features a modern shop, while the upper levels are divided into four bays. The structure is made of brick, adorned with relieving arches, and has raised long-and-short worked ashlar quoins and dressings, all of which are painted. The first floor has moulded lintels, and the second floor features reveals. The building has sash windows and an eaves course, with end stacks and a slate roof. Some of the windows are fitted with shutters that have raised and fielded panelling.
