Description
123, 125, and 127 High Street in Dumfries is a building from the later 18th century. It stands four storeys tall with shops on the ground floor that extend up to the cills of the first floor. The facade features four bays and is rendered to resemble ashlar, with ashlar margins, all painted. Throughout the building, there are three-paned double casements. It has an eaves and lintel band, a cornice, and a slate roof. At the back, there is a long, irregularly fenestrated three-storey wing made of red sandstone rubble.
