Kirkton, 7 Church Street, Glenluce

Kirkton is a late 18th century, two-storey, three-bay house located on a corner site at 7 Church Street in Glenluce, featuring a piended angle and a long elevation facing Sun Street. The north elevation is harled, while the other elevations are dry-dashed, with painted margins and a painted base course along with quoin strips on the west elevation.

On the north elevation (Church Street), there is a modern door at the center, with regularly spaced windows on both floors, including smaller windows on the first floor. The west elevation (Sun Street) has a three-bay arrangement (two windows on the left and one on the right) with a door in the center bay and windows in the outer bays. The east elevation is adjoined to a lower building, No 6 Church Street. The south elevation features a window to the left on the first floor.

The house has modern glazing, a coped skew to the northeast, a broad gablehead stack on the east side, grey-green slates, and cast-iron rainwater goods.
