Description

Earlier 19th century. Single storey, attic and basement, 3-bay

cottage; 2-storey on falling ground to rear. Painted rubble. Painted raised margins and quoin strips. Eaves course.

N (MAIN STREET) ELEVATION: door at centre; stone steps oversailing basement. Windows in outer bays to ground floor and basement. Door at basement under steps. Blocked doorway flanking door to left. Modern gabled dormer windows above outer bays.

W ELEVATION: gabled and blank.

E ELEVATION: gabled and blank. Blocked window to left and right between basement and ground floor. Rubble wall adjoined to outer right.

Modern top-hopper glazing. No skews. Broad painted rubble gablehead stacks, with red sandstone coping, to E and W. Modern tiles. Octagonal cans.

RAILINGS: iron spearhead railings to N.
