Earlier 19th century with alterations; ground floor shops

completely modern exclusive of single column at NW angle

(No 83); 2-storey and symmetrical at 5-bay ashlar-faced 1st

floor, 3 bays nearest W painted, re-glazed and re-slated

losing homogeneity. Band course between floors, tripartite

windows in 2nd and 4th bay with blind narrow outer lights.

Original small-paned sashes in 2 bays nearest E (No 87).

Straight skews; end stacks; slate roof, 2 shallow dormers to

Nos 83-85.
