Description

77, 79 and 81 High Street in Annan date back to 1730, as indicated by the marriage lintel above the original central door. The building has two storeys and three bays, featuring a rendered exterior with painted ashlar margins. The two shops on the ground floor have been united, and the original central door has been replaced with a glazed version. Each first-floor window has a small-paned upper sash. The building has straight skews and is roofed with graded slates, although the end stacks have been demolished. There are also rear wings.
