Description
The lodge, outbuildings, and former stables at Glenluiart form a courtyard arrangement, likely designed around 1901 by W West. The buildings are a single storey with an attic, constructed of rubble with red ashlar dressings, and are executed in an Arts and Crafts style.
The lodge has a projecting section on its east gable, featuring a door and a long mullioned window. An attic window is set within a timber-framed gable head, and the roof sweeps upwards to the north. A bracketed canopy extends above a doorway leading to the courtyard, while the south elevation features two bipartited windows with small, leaded panes.
The lower and narrower outbuildings extend westwards, with openings facing into the courtyard. Two chimney stacks are present. The roofs are slate, although they may have originally been red tiles. The former stables and cartshed each have a gambrel roof covered with red tiles, and feature large rectangular openings to the courtyard, alongside additional door and window openings to the stables.
Wooden gatepiers and decorative wooden gates mark the entrance.
