Description

Earlier 19th century. 2-storey, 3-bay double-pile house with

twin-gabled flanks, rear (N) range probably a late 18th/early

19th century house. Rubble-built with stugged ashlar

dressings; whitewashed, with painted margins. S elevation:

windows (with shutter hooks) all bipartite casements with

recessed wooden mullions and lying-pane glazing (glazing

pattern repeated on most other windows); horizontal 1st floor

windows. N elevation has central lean-to at ground with

panelled door with fanlight, sash windows at 1st floor with

12-pane glazing pattern. Straight skews; corniced end stacks;

slate roofs.
