Description

St Machute's Church is a ruin of a former parish church built in 1730 on the site of the earlier St Machute's Church, which was largely rebuilt in 1770. The east gable and south wall of the church still stand, although they are covered with ivy. Some fragments of the earlier structure are reported to survive at the southeast angle.
