Description
22 Bank Street in Wigtown is a two-storey house from the earlier to mid 19th century, with some later alterations. It is part of a terraced group situated on sloping ground. The first floor features gabled dormerheads with finials that break the eaves. The house is rendered and has granite quoins on the left, which interlock with the adjacent property, No 20. The door on the right is paired with a later pend door to the outer right, and both have rectangular fanlights. To the left, there is an enlarged bipartite window with stone mullions. Above, there are two dormerhead windows. The sash and case windows have a plate glass glazing pattern, and the roof is covered with graduated grey slates. A slender chimney stack is located on the right.
