Description
This is an earlier or mid-19th century outbuilding, likely incorporating an existing structure, associated with the former Ewes Parish Manse. It is a two-storey building with an attic, originally comprising three bays, and includes a lower south wing and a taller rear (west) wing. The exterior is constructed of whin rubble with contrasting ashlar dressings. A central panelled door is topped by a fanlight, a fluted frieze, and a cornice, and the building features single-pane sash windows. Two piended canted dormers are visible, along with corniced end stacks. The roof is covered in graded slates. An unusually long outbuilding extends to the northwest, although it is not all of one build. The building was re-categorized from Category B to Category C(S) on 12 July 1988. The statutory address includes the Ewes Parish Manse and the outbuilding.
