Description
These are a pair of late 18th-century cottages located at 45 and 47 Victoria Street, Kirkpatrick Durham. They are single-storey and have three bays each. Number 45 is built of rendered, painted rubble, while number 47 is of painted rubble with a prominent basecourse of boulders. Each cottage has a central doorway flanked by 12-pane sash windows. The roofs are slate, with corniced end stacks. Number 47 has modern dormers to the rear. The buildings are designated as a group with numbers 50-54 Victoria Street, reflecting their cohesive historic appearance.
