Description
This is an early 19th century cottage of single-storey and three bays. It retains a relatively unaltered appearance. The walls are of rubble construction, with a basecourse of boulders, and have been partially rendered. A central timber door with vertical boarding is topped by a narrow fanlight. Single-light windows with four panes, set in sash and case frames, are close to the eaves. The cottage has corniced end stacks with thackstanes, and a slate roof. It is part of a group of buildings including 39 St David Street, a Schoolhouse, and Beechgrove.
