Description
6 Wellington Street in Annan is an earlier 19th century, two-storey, three-bay house that is raised over a basement. There is an identically-detailed two-bay addition to the north, which now features a garage at ground level and has a pebble-dashed gable. The house is constructed from droved red ashlar with polished dressings and painted margins, although there is a rendered patch on the right side.
The central doorway is round-arched and is accessed by steps with iron handrails. The windows are mostly sash with a 12-pane glazing pattern. The building includes band courses, an eaves and lintel band, a cornice, and a blocking course, along with end stacks and a slate roof.
