Description
19 High Street in Coldstream is an early 19th-century, two-storey, three-bay house built over a basement. The ground floor is constructed of ashlar stone, while the first floor is rendered to resemble ashlar. The building features angle quoins on the right side and has an architraved and corniced doorpiece that includes a latticed fanlight and a panelled door. There is a band course above the ground floor and 12-pane sash windows. An eaves band course runs along the top of the building. The roof is slate, with a straight skew on the right side and brick stacks at the ends. Ornate scrolled railings flank the steps leading to the entrance, with spearhead detailing surrounding the basement area.
