Description
Fairfield is a single-storey and attic villa built in the later 19th century, featuring three bays. The exterior is constructed of coursed bull-faced red ashlar with quoins and polished dressings. It has a large columned porch with an arched doorway and bipartite windows with plate glass sashes, which are recessed in segmental-arched panels. The villa includes an eaves band, three broad-eaved gabled dormers, and a broad-eaved slate roof that is hipped but sweeps to the front and rear, with flues gathered into a linked pair of central ridge stacks.
There is a modern conservatory recessed on the south flank and a low garden terrace wall to the west. The property is set behind low boundary walls topped with ashlar coping and features gatepiers.
