Description

West Lodge at Inglewood House on Tullibody Road in Alloa was designed by Sydney Mitchell & Wilson around 1900. The lodge features gates and four gatepiers that are connected by footgate arches, which are half-fluted and half-rusticated, topped with urn finials. The building itself is a single-storey structure with an attic, constructed from snecked rubble. It has a canted bay facing the road, with a half-timbered gable above. Additionally, there is a tall canted bay feature leading to the drive, which includes angle colonnettes at the upper level, and a porch situated in the angle. The roof is covered with red tiles.
