Inglewood, Tullibody Road, Alloa

Inglewood, located on Tullibody Road in Alloa, is a large mansion house designed by Sidney Mitchell & Wilson around 1900 in a Jacobean style. The main block is asymmetrical, featuring two storeys and an attic, with a prominent four-storey southeast tower. The south front showcases bay windows and a recessed verandah, while the north front is highlighted by a coupled column porch in a fluted Roman Doric order and a tall narrow bay at the tower. The building is constructed from snecked rubble and topped with a red tiled roof and shaped gables, displaying elaborate detailing throughout. Inside, the mansion features a Jacobean style and art-nouveau glasswork. There is also a conservatory and a modern addition located at the north-west.
