Description

Early 18th century. Reconstructed Ebenezer J McRae 1930 (and restored Simpson and Brown 1978). 2-storey and attic 3-bay tenement with shop at ground floor. Random rubble with ashlar dressings. Bays at (painted) ground floor divided by pilasters with continuous fascia and cornice above. 2-leaf timber panelled door to flats at No 48 to right. 2-leaf timber panelled door to shop (No 46) flanked by windows. 4 windows to 1st floor (blocked former window to centre). Later ashlar gablets to 3 attic windows.

12-pane glazing in timber sash and case windows. Grey slates. Stone skews. Corniced stacks with circular cans to ridge and wallhead stack to rear.
