Description

Earlier 19th century. 2-storey 3-bay subdivided house with projecting rear stair well. Cream sandstone, coursed and squared rubble front with droved dressings, squared and snecked rubble rear and sides.

S (FORMERLY FRONT) ELEVATION: band course above ground floor; architraved and corniced doorway to centre with narrow 6-pane fanlight, single window at 1st floor above. Outer bays with single windows to ground and 1st floor.

N (FORMERLY REAR) ELEVATION: rectangular stairwell with lean-to roof to centre bay with secondary door on return. Outer bays with single windows to ground and 1st floor.

E AND W ELEVATIONS: gabled with apex stacks.

12-pane timber sash and case windows. Slate roof, 2 apex stacks. INTERIOR: stone stair to stair well with cast-iron balustrade and timber handrail.
