Description
Sovereign House, located at 12 Young Street in Edinburgh, is a modern office building designed by Alan Reiach, Eric Hall & Partners in 1970. The structure features two storeys and a mansard attic, with a total of 14 bays arranged in a pattern of 4-3-3-4. The exterior is clad in droved cream sandstone, and the central doors are false. The rear elevation is constructed of brick and includes open garaging that oversails. The building has timber sash and case windows with 12 panes each. The mansard roof is covered with grey slates. Inside, the offices are designed in a modern open plan layout.
