Description

Thomas P Marwick, 1888. 4-storey 5-bay tenement block. Squared and snecked bull-faced cream sandstone with pink ashlar dressings. 2 canted outer bays with finialled, conical, slated roofs. Cill course to 2nd floor; stepped corbel course to 4th floor. Border-glazed fanlights to 3 timber panelled doors: to stair to centre, ground floor flats flanking. Predominantly stone-mullioned windows with chamfered reveals. 2 triangular-pedimented dormers breaking eaves.

Predominantly plate glass in timber sash and case windows. Graded grey slates. Corbelled stack to 2nd floor left, ridge stacks, circular cans. Cast iron down pipe with original hopper.
