Description

Circa 1850. 2-storey, 3-bay rectangular-plan villa. Squared and snecked sandstone; stugged ashlar to entrance elevation. Chamfered reveals; overhanging eaves; gabletted single windows at 1st floor.

W ENTRANCE elevation: architraved basket-arched doorway and fanlight in central bay; boarded door with decorative iron hinges; plate glass fanlight; window at 1st floor above. Advanced bay to outer left with 2-storey canted window. Single windows in bay to outer right.

N ELEVATION: advanced gabled bay to centre; machiolated corbel to corniced oriel window with round-headed lights. Single window at 1st floor toouter right.

S ELEVATION: M-gabled; irregularly disposed windows. 6-pane sash and case windows. Grey slate gabled roof; corniced gablehead stacks; timber finial to main gable.

INTERIOR: not seen 1991.

GARAGE gatepiers and boundary walls: pitched roof garage detached to S; square section gatepiers; low saddleback-coped boundary wall to street; higher mutual walls.
