They are constructed from cream ashlar sandstone and include raised architraves, a cornice, and a blocking course.

The doors, which have fanlights, are located in the penultimate bays of the two-storey terrace and are accessed through an open passage between the shops. The entrances are highlighted by scroll-bracketed, architraved, and keystoned round-arched overthrows with a consoled cornice facing the street, along with original cast-iron gates. There are three shops with recessed doorways at the center, featuring a consoled cornice, plate glass windows, and slender corner columns. Number 36 has been modernized.

On the first floor, the broad end bays are slightly advanced and have canted windows with piend-roofed canted dormers. The gables are made of rubble, with the eastern gable angled at the rear. There are also two additional shops at the ground level to the east; No 34 has a three-bay layout, while No 32 has a two-bay layout and has been modernized.

The first floor features timber sash and case plate glass windows. The roofs are covered with grey slates, and there are ashlar coped skews. A corniced ashlar stack is present on the west side, while the others have been rebuilt.
