Description

11, 13, 15 Roseneath Terrace is a Baronial tenement built around 1875, featuring four stories and six bays. The building is constructed from squared and snecked sandstone, accented with polished ashlar dressings. It has a base course and a corbel course that steps down to the second floor at the center, with roll-moulded door surrounds and chamfered reveals.

The north elevation, which serves as the entrance, has seven bays at the ground level. There is a central doorway, along with doorways in the inner left and right bays, and bipartite windows in the bays that separate the doorways. To the outer left, there is a full-height canted window, with dividing cornices and a string course above a blank tablet at the second floor. The decorative parapet above the third floor features a crowstepped gablet behind it. The outer left bay also includes a three-storey canted window with similar dividing cornices and a string course. The third floor has a bipartite window that breaks the eaves, set within a finialled and crowstepped gablet that has an inset roundel. The remaining bays have single windows, with the third floor windows in the fourth and fifth bays breaking the eaves in finialled and pedimented dormerheads. There are crowstepped gables over the second and third bays, and a round bartizan at the third floor of the outer left bay, which features a bipartite window and a fishscale conical roof.

The west elevation is M-gabled and has a single window at the third floor. The building features four-pane and plate glass sash and case windows, a grey slate roof with lead flashing, a corniced wallhead, and mutual stacks with moulded cans.

The interiors were not seen in 1990. A low saddleback wall is present along the street.
