4, 6, 8 Roseneath Terrace, Edinburgh

4, 6, 8 Roseneath Terrace is a Baronial tenement built around 1875. It is a four-storey, three-bay structure made of squared and snecked sandstone, featuring polished ashlar dressings. The building has a base course and a stepped crobel table that forms a segmental-arched hood over the central second-floor window, with chamfered reveals.

The entrance elevation has a central roll-moulded doorway flanked by two narrower doorways, each with panelled doors and plate glass fanlights. There are full-height canted windows that are corbelled to a square crowstepped gable on the outer right side. The ground floor is slightly advanced and has a canopy, with dividing cornices. The outer left bay features bipartite windows, while the third-floor windows break the eaves in a crowstepped gablet with an inset circular patera. The central bay has mullioned and transomed bipartite windows on the first and second floors, and a single window that breaks the eaves at the third floor within a pedimented and finialled dormerhead. The building is fitted with four-pane and plate glass sash and case windows. It has a grey slate roof with lead flashing, corniced mutual stacks, and moulded cans.

The interiors were not seen in 1990. There is a low saddleback wall along the street.
