Description

  1. Single storey with raised basement, 3-bay, symmetrical classical house; built as one, now subdivided. Lightly stugged cream sandstone ashlar to Salisbury Place (principal) elevation; coursed rubble sandstone with droved ashlar dressings to Upper Gray Street. Base course; dividing band course; cornice and blocking course; raised quoins to principal elevation.

N (SALISBURY PLACE) ELEVATION: advanced centre bay; steps up to central doorway; panelled door; plate glass fanlight; single windows in bays to outer left and right.

E (UPPER GRAY STREET) ELEVATION: projecting cills to 1st floor windows. Central doorway; panelled door; plate glass fanlight; single window above and in bays to outer left and right; pedestrian gate adjoining house to S.

12-pane, timber, sash and case windows. Grey slate piended roof; 4-light canted dormers; tall coped wallhead stack to S; octagonal moulded cans.

BOUNDARY WALLS: low coped boundary wall to Upper Gray Street; replacement railings; high, rubble wall to S.
