Description

Early 19th century with later alterations and additions. Single storey with half-basement, 3-bay classical house. Droved ashlar, polished dressings, harled sided elevations and extension to rear. Band course between ground and half-basement; cornice and blocking course; moulded architraves.

NE (PRINCIPAL) ELEVATION: 4 steps with original cast-iron handrails to panelled Edinburgh door at centre; plate glass rectangular fanlight. Window at bay to right, stained glass internal glazing to upper section; later tripartite window, bay to left, stained glass internal glazing to upper sections.

SW (REAR) ELEVATION: not seen fully. Extension to centre.

Plate glass timber sash and case windows. Slate piended roof; rendered and coped wallhead stacks to side elevations.

INTERIOR: not seen, 1994.

BOUNDARY WALLS: bull-faced render with coping.
