7 Rosefield Place, Portobello, Edinburgh

7 Rosefield Place is an early 19th-century house that has undergone later alterations and additions. It is a single-storey building with a half-basement and features a three-bay classical design. The exterior is constructed of droved ashlar with polished dressings, while the northwest side elevation is harled and the southeast side elevation is made of rubble. There is a band course above the basement, a cornice, and a blocking course, along with moulded architraves.

The northeast (principal) elevation has four steps leading up to a modern door at the center, flanked by windows in the adjacent bays, and features a plate glass rectangular fanlight above the door. The southwest (rear) elevation is not visible but includes extensions to the outer right and to the center.

The house has 4-pane timber sash and case windows and a slate piended roof. The northwest side has a droved ashlar wallhead stack, while the southeast side has a brick wallhead stack with harling.

The interior was not seen during the last inspection in 1994. The boundary walls are rendered on the northeast side.
