Description

1825 incorporating earlier fabric following fire of 1824 (see Notes). 5-storey, 8-bay residential and commercial ashlar tenement with later, squared and snecked rubble ground floor. Raised cills. 2 wide segmental-arch openings to ground floor left. Narrow round-arched pend to centre leading to Stevenlaw's Close and further large plate glass window and doorway to far right. Pair of bi-partite dormers to far left and right.

Predominantly 12-pane timber sash and case windows. Scottish slate. Particularly broad brick and harled stacks with clay cans. Cast-iron rainwater goods.
