1, 3, 5, 7 Blair Street in Edinburgh is a building dating from around 1790. It is a three-storey structure with an attic and basement, featuring a near-symmetrical, seven-bay design topped with a pediment. The ground floor has round-arched openings and is constructed from polished ashlar stone, with rusticated quoins at the base. The second floor has raised cills, and there is a band course between the ground and first floors. The fifth bay contains a door leading to a later public house, which has an over-sailing stair. A lunette window is set into the pediment, and there are recessed piended dormers at the outer left and right bays.

The building has 12-pane timber sash and case windows, a grey slate roof, and cast-iron rainwater goods. Cast-iron railings are also present. The interior of the ground floor has been refurbished for use as a public house.
